About the company

We are a colourful collective from around the world united in the common goal of helping
the next generation engage with the world in a meaningful way.

Our purpose at The Pineapple Lounge is to connect brands directly with the deepest needs
and desires of young people. Emerging generations will disrupt the world for the better. But
they’ll need everyone’s help getting there. Are you with us?

About the role

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF...

You have 4-5 years experience, or equivalent and have strong knowledge of
the kids and family industry.

You have at least 2-3 years, or equivalent, of client management experience
and be comfortable and confident liaising with clients on a regular basis.

You have strong moderation experience within the kids and youth between
the ages of 4 – 19.

You will be expected to bring strategic value to projects via knowledge of
specific audiences and trends in the market and you have experience at
converting consumer insights into applicable, strategic actions for clients.

It would be great if you had client-side marketing, brand or CI experience or
creative agency experience and had experience in trends, an innovation
background, vocational or academic - although this experience is not
essential for this role

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING...
You will support the senior lead on large, typically international projects, whilst
leading smaller scope projects yourself. This would entail overseeing all aspects
of projects from start to finish including proposal writing, moderation, analysis,
debrief writing and presentation, using senior support as a sounding board. You
will also be expected to contribute to the growth of the business by helping to
develop client relationships, pitching for new business (with support from
senior) and contributing to new methodologies/The Pineapple Lounge products.

Social impact
We believe our company can do many things to make changes in our world for the
better. For a number of years now we have been developing our long-term
commitment to reducing our environmental impact and embedding good green
practices within our business. We have committed to the MRS net zero pledge and
have made a change to our default pension investments into green investment
funds. We want to continually develop our social impact and we do this by allowing
our employees dedicated time off to contribute and give back to a social cause
that is important to them, and by developing our relationships with local charity
and community partners.

Wellbeing
We are a community who looks after and out for each other and looking after our
mental health is as much a priority as looking after our physical health. As well as
providing health care benefits to everyone in the company and access to an
employee assistance programme, we are also signatories of the Mindful Business
Charter and our managers are trained to actively promote healthy working
practices across the Company.

Growth and Development
We are passionate about seeing individuals grow and develop. We actively
encourage everyone to take on development opportunities, grow within your role
and gain promotion when you are ready. We encourage a process of continual
feedback from managers and encourage everyone to build their confidence in
their roles and feel supported in their own career growth.

Belonging
It is important to us that our research and our workforce embraces the views and
voices of people from diverse backgrounds and communities. We want everyone
across our Group to feel they can come to work feeling valued and can thrive in
their roles. Our Diversity plans accelerate our ambition to becoming an inclusive
employer .
As an Equal Opportunities Employer, we welcome applications from individuals
regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity,
socio-economic background, religion and/or belief. Our offices are accessible, and
we can make required adjustments to suit individual needs.

How we come together
The Pineapple Lounge is part of the Firefish Group of companies and we love to find
ways in which we can come together as Pineapples and also across our Group. We
have various ways in which we connect our people across the company, from virtual
meet ups and curious coffees, to ‘Fish Suppers’ (dinner on the company) or wider
yearly social events and monthly gatherings. You will find yourself coming together
with a load of welcoming, warm and truly fascinating people.
