About the role

Launched in October 2020, Yonder is a consultancy that blends insight, strategy and imagination to unlock opportunity and deliver impact. Yonder is at an exciting time in its growth and we are now looking for an in-house Talent Acquisition Manager to help manage the acquisition of our most important asset - our people. We are seeking an individual who can help us achieve our goal of moving from a model of transactional hiring to strategic talent acquisition. The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for acquisition of talent across the whole business that includes the Consulting team (market research, brand strategy, data analytics, creative etc), Data Solutions team (data programmers, data processors, survey managers etc) and Operational Team (e.g. Finance, IT, Office Management etc). The Talent Acquisition Manager will be a member of the People Team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within the industry and consultancy market, perhaps having worked your way up through the ranks to a relatively senior level and along the way having been involved with the recruitment of acquisition of talent. Alternatively, you will be a recruitment specialist who has experience of recruiting in our industry space.

Key areas of responsibilities:

Drive talent attraction and engagement.
− Manage the recruitment journey from end to end.
− Work with Chief Development Officer to develop Yonder’s talent acquisition strategy.
− Review current shape of existing resource and evaluate what resource/capabilities are required to deliver the business strategy.
− Work with Head of Marketing to develop our Employer Value Proposition and raise Yonder’s profile in the market.

− Ensure best in class candidate journey is consistently achieved removing all unconscious bias.
− Work in partnership with hiring managers to gain a full understanding of the profile of candidates they are seeking to join their specialist teams.
− Work with the Chief Development Officer and Resourcing Manager to determine ongoing resourcing requirements to deliver against the business strategy.

− Form a close working relationship with specialism community groups and Principals to familiarise yourself in the type of work / projects that the various client delivery groups execute.
− Develop and execute innovate and effective sourcing of talent strategies.
− Demonstrate up to date insight and understanding of the current candidate market and competitor landscape.
− Be able to share knowledge and insights with the community groups on the ongoing challenges of the recruitment market in our industry space
− Fully utilise all online and social media platforms such as LinkedIn to source suitable candidates for live briefs and future prospective roles. Ensure our outreach is aligned with our diversity, equality and inclusion goals.

− Demonstrate a sharp eye for talented people and a keen interest in their development and growth.
− Demonstrate the ability to attract direct applicants thereby reducing external recruitment fees whilst not losing sight of the primary goal to have the right talent in the right place at the right time.
− Effectively screen candidates that would be suitable for Yonder through video / telephone interviews and build our own suitable candidate database of talent.

− Provide weekly activity report to hiring manager.
− Ensure compliance with data protection requirements.
− Proactively play a key role in our diversity, equality and inclusion policy and guidelines and ensure compliance by all those involved in the talent acquisition cycle.
− Retain effective relationships with all key stakeholders.

Requirements

− The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within the industry and consultancy market, perhaps having worked your way up through the ranks to a relatively senior level and along the way having been involved with the recruitment of acquisition of talent. Alternatively, you will be a recruitment specialist who has a minimum of five years’ experience of recruiting in our industry space.

− A proven track record of successful recruitment;
− Experience in full-cycle recruiting and sourcing;
− Some experience in Employer Value Proposition;
− In depth understanding and outreach of all selection methods and techniques;
− Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, personal presence and energy
− Proactively take on the challenge of unfamiliar tasks and regularly communicates back to key stakeholders

− Can skilfully and confidently influence and negotiate and maintain a positive relationship with all parties during negotiations
− Experience of working with social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) to source candidates and job boards to advertise roles;

− Excellent Microsoft Office skills;
− Ability to successfully manage changing or competing priorities
− An ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Having experience with recruitment within market research and / or (brand) strategy industries is a bonus.
