About the role
About you and the role
As Senior Researcher, you'll manage high-value or complex research projects and accounts, developing relationships and maximising value delivered for the client and the company. You will deliver research and co-ordinate projects that result in transformative insights for clients.
Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll do:
Project delivery
Manage high-value and complex consultancy and insight projects that help our clients reach their goals, profitably deliveringr high-quality, actionable insights.
Design and develop qualitative and quantitative research tools to meet client objectives.
Facilitate qualitative research methods and manage recruitment and fieldwork as needed.
Manage teams through the MHM insight process to develop relevant actionable insights for our clients. Conduct analysis and produce reports that outline these insights in a succint, clear narrative with recommendations.
Co-ordinate complex project teams and schedules to ensure delivery on time and budget.
Develop strong relationships with clients as a trusted insight partner.
Take responsibility for monitoring delivery against complex budget and communicating progress to the team - deliver tasks (and encourage others to) efficiently.
Contribute to business-winning
Participate in scoping meetings to help shape projects. Write proposals and review costs.
Write research proposals and participate in pitches to persuade potential clients. Review costs to ensure accurate budget.
Maintain relationships with key clients between projects to ensure we remain their go-to agency and understand the impact of our work.
Contribute to MHM
Take an active role in developing research skills in others across the team.
Make a positive impact on MHM culture and team engagement by living MHM behaviours
Explore new research methods and trends, identifying opportunities to trial and adopt new approaches.
Contribute to the delivery of, company aims and objectives as needed.
Your skills
You'll be the right person for this job if:
You are able to analyse qualitative and quantitative data, identifying the salient issues and have experience of conducting primary qualitative research using a range of methods
You're passionate about solving problems, no matter if they're big or small; and have a strong mindset of getting things done
You have great communication skills (verbal and written), and are able to explain and present complex issues in an accessible way to various audiences
You actively identify opportunities, deliver improvements, and proactively implement and follow project management methodologies and processes
You are great at managing expectations, ensuring delivery of the highest quality service, and soliciting and acting on client feedback
Experience of working in an agency environment is desirable but not essential
We are especially interested in hiring an Arabic or Swedish speaker, but this is not essential.

The Particulars
Salary: £28,000-32,000 dependent on experience
Working Hours: 35 hours a week worked in line with our flexible working policy
Annual Leave: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Location: Manchester Northern quarter, we are currently hybrid working with at least 2 days in the office.
